With the increasing news and concern regarding the COVID-19, coronavirus, we want to ensure our patients that we are monitoring the developing situation and have resources in place to protect our patients and our staff.
Trident Dermatology® is taking the following precautions:
- Asking that only the patient being seen enter the building per social distancing guidelines. All others, please wait in vehicle or outside of office.
- Sanitizing all surface areas including doorknobs, counters, chairs etc in the waiting room hourly.
- Per CDC and SC DHEC guidelines, all patients are screened for coronavirus symptoms – however, we cannot offer testing for Covid-19.
For those patients who have developed the symptoms (fever, cough, and shortness of breath), have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or have recently traveled from an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of COVID-19, please call your primary care doctor for further testing. If you have these symptoms and have a non-emergent issue, please call us to reschedule your upcoming appointment. If you are unsure if your dermatologic condition warrants an emergent situation, your physician will be available to screen and provide further guidance.
